Administrative and biographical history: Dr Price was born in Carmarthenshire in 1924, but was brought up on a farm in Breconshire. He studied for a BSc in agricultural economics at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He studied for further degrees at the universities of Oxford and Wisconsin. He lectured at the Agricultural Economics Research Institute of the University of Oxford, and worked for Imperial Chemical Industries and World Bank. He now lives in the USA.


Scope and content: Bound copy of 'A Social and Economic Survey of two Parishes (Maescar and Senny) in South West Breconshire. A dissertation submitted by Owen Thomas Williams Price, B.Sc in part candidature for the honours degree in Economics with Agricultural Economics of the University of Wales, session 1945-46.'; 1 page biography of Dr Price
