Administrative and biographical history: David Davies (1818-1890) of Llandinam, Montgomeryshire, was an industrialist and MP, 1874-1875, 1885-1886. With the wealth accumulated in his industrial endeavours he purchased several estates. He was succeeded by his son, Edward Davies (1852-1898), whose son was David Davies (1880-1944), MP for Montgomeryshire, 1906-1929, created 1st Baron Davies of Llandinam in 1932.
Scope and content: Financial records, 1891-1944, relating to the personal estates of David Davies, Llandinam, and his descendants.
