Name of creator(s): Pryce family of Burgedin; Rogers family of Ceunant.
Administrative and biographical history: Edward Pryce (fl. 1729-1761) of Burgedin, Guilsfield, Montgomeryshire, married Anne Henley (fl. 1729-1761) of Welshpool. Their son, Edward (fl. 1761-1788), married Margaret (fl. 1765-1801) and their only child, Mary (fl. 1794-1801), married Joseph Jones of Mathrafal. Edward Rogers (d. 1776) of Ceunant, Burgedin, married Mary Richards (d. 1766) in 1757. Their three children included Edward (b. 1758) who married Sarah Downes of Meifod in 1780. Edward and Sarah had at least eight children, the eldest being another Edward (b. 1781).
Scope and content: Documents of the Pryce and Rogers families and others, 1712-1938, including deeds relating to the township of Burgedin, Guilsfield, and elsewhere in Montgomeryshire, 1712-1881; copies of birth, marriage and burial certificates and other miscellaneous family papers, 1828; Enclosure Act, 1788; will of Anne Clive-Powell of Welshpool, 1938.
