Administrative and biographical history: The Scout Association was founded in 1907 by Lord Baden-Powell. Miskin Mill Scout Village near Pontyclun, Glamorgan (now Rhondda Cynon Taff) has been used by the Scouts as a camping and training site since 1929.
Scope and content: Photographs, 1934-1950, of [?Glasbury Scouts], Scout courses at Miskin Mill, Glamorgan, and Jamborees in Sweden and Holland; Holland Jamboree plate, 1937.
