Administrative and biographical history: John Ruell the younger (fl. 1837-1876) lived in Llanfihangel Rhydithon, Radnorshire. Arthur Ruell (fl. 1891) [his son?] lived in Dolau, Llandrindod, Radnorshire. In 1985 papers of the Ruell family were loaned to Powys County Archives Service in order to be photocopied for an exhibition at Llanfihangel Rhydithon.
Scope and content: Photocopies, , of papers of the Ruell family (1792-1891) including deeds relating to properties in Llanfihangel Rhydithon, Llanddewi Ystradenni and Llandrindod, Radnorshire, Llanwrthwl, Brecknockshire, Borden and Boughton, Kent, and St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex (1792-1891), plans of properties in Llanfihangel Rhydieithon (1840), legal costs (-1869) and letters (1855-1856).
