It included land in the parishes of Llowes and Aberedw, Radnorshire. Clyro Court was built by Thomas B. Mynors Baskerville (c.1806-1864) in 1839. He inherited the estate from his third cousin Colonel Thomas Baskerville (d.1818). He held the estate in the mid 19th century and his eldest son, Walter Thomas Mynors Baskerville (c.1849-1905) inherited the estate. In 1905 Walter's son, Ralph Hopton Baskerville (d.1917) took over the estate. Dorothy Nesta Baskerville lived at Clyro Court during the early 20th century. The Baskerville family also owned estates in Berkshire, Dorset, Herefordshire and Wiltshire.
