Administrative and biographical history: John ap Howell Bedo (d. 1577) of Llanyre, Radnorshire, owned a property called Beili Einon in the parishes of Llandrindod and Cefnllys, Radnorshire. He left it to his son Howell ap John (fl. 1566-1587) who was married to Gwenllian (fl. 1564-1602), daughter of Rice ap Llywelyn of Llandrindod. They moved to Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, in about 1587 and sold Beili Einon to Richard Nayshe (fl. 1587-1602) of Worcester, Worcestershire. Gwenllian and her son, Rees ap Howell, owned other property in Llandrindod which they later sold to Nayshe. Thomas Huet (d. 1591), clerk, was the translator of the Book of Revelations into Welsh.
