Administrative and biographical history: The Rev. Wilkinson apparently used slides as illustrative materials in connection with lectures on theology, church history and other subjects. Richard Baxter (1615-1691) was a Presbyterian divine, born in Rowton, Shropshire. George Frederic Watts (1817-1904) was a painter and sculptor. Dante Aligheri (1265-1321) was the author of The Divine Comedy.
Scope and content: Slides, [c. 1889]-[1920s], depicting or otherwise relating to monasteries, cathedrals and churches in Britain and Europe, Biblical and theological subjects, the Mayflower and the Pilgrim Fathers, psalms, Dante and his works, G. F. Watts (1817-1904) and his works, and Richard Baxter (1615-1691).
