Administrative and biographical history: Roger Dodsworth (1585-1654) and Sir William Dugdale's (1605-1686) Monasticon Anglicanum (1655-1673) was a history of the monasteries and other religious institutions of England and Wales, originally published in three volumes. A new edition, edited by John Caley, Henry Ellis and Bulkeley Bandinel, was published as eight volumes, 1817-1830.
Scope and content: Photocopies, [20th century], from the new edition of Dugdale's Monasticon Anglicanum relating to the Priory of Brecknock; Llanthony, Monmouthshire; Crasswall Priory's lands in Ewias Lacy, Herefordshire; property of Great Malvern Priory, Worcestershire; property of Dore Abbey, Herefordshire, including Nanteglwys and lands in Builth; and the Cathedral of Llandaff.
