Administrative and biographical history: Fronfelen Hall is situated near the village of Corris, on the border of Montgomeryshire and Merionethshire. The Fronfelen estate lay mainly in the parish of Llanwrin, Montgomeryshire, but also in the parish of Pennal, Merionethshire. The estate owned two fulling mills and a water corn grist mill at Esgairgeiliog. Until 1954 the estate was owned by David Pugh Evans (fl. 1810-1854).
Scope and content: Records of the Fronfelen estate, 1810-1898, comprising deeds relating to property in Llanwrin, Montgomeryshire, and Pennal, Merionethshire, 1810-1898; miscellaneous death certificates and parish register extracts, 1846-1858.
