Administrative and biographical history: The Radnorshire Museum in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, specialises in archaeology, natural sciences, costume and textiles, decorative and applied art, world cultures, fine art, medicine, weapons and war, coins and medals, personalities, archives and social history. The Rock Park in Llandrindod Wells is famous for its Saline and Chalybeate springs. Also there is a wide variety of plant and animal life to be found. The poem Rhaiadr Gwy: A Poem was written in the 1840s by Daniel Carter. It was published in the late 1860s by John Pryse, Llanidloes.
