Administrative and biographical history: Until 1923, the county of Radnorshire fell within the Church in Wales (formerly Church of England) Diocese of St David's, and included the parishes of Beguildy, Llandegley and Llangunllo. The reorganisation of 1923 created the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon, which comprised the counties of Brecknockshire, Radnorshire, the city of Swansea and the Gower Peninsula.
Scope and content: Records from ecclesiastical parishes in Radnorshire, 1693-1880, including drawings and plans relating to Llandegley Church, 1874-1875; Llangunllo parish churchwarden's accounts and Poor Law records, 1693-1880; and Beguildy parish poor rate assessment book, 1838-1841.
