The Caerfanell Reservoir, Talybont, Brecknockshire, was constructed in the 1930s to provide water for Newport, Monmouthshire. The Bronllys Water and Sewage Works, Brecknockshire, were constructed by Hay Rural Sanitary Authority in the late 19th century.
