Scope and content: Visual material relating to Montgomeryshire, 1775-[1950s], comprising engravings, 1775-[c. 1855], photographs, 1864-[1950s], and magazine cuttings and articles, 1871-1936, particularly of Machynlleth, Montgomery and Montgomery Castle, Newtown, Welshpool and Powis Castle; sale particulars for the Dolforgan and Ystumcolwyn estates in Castle Caereinion, Kerry, Llanfair Caereinion and Meifod, Montgomeryshire, and Beguildy, Radnorshire, 1821-1921; and printed ephemera, 1867-1937.
