Administrative and biographical history: Treflogau, Bryn-yr-hesglyn, Lluest Peter, and other premises in the parish of Llandinam, Montgomeryshire, were originally in separate ownership. John Beadnell of Lombard Street, London, bought Lluest Peter in 1829. The various properties are recorded in the 1869 tithe apportionment as the property of a Mrs Marsh. At some time before 1892, all the properties came into the hands of the Beadnell family, and were subject to a family trust.
Scope and content: Deeds and papers relating to Treflogau, Bryn-yr-hesglyn, Lluest Peter and other properties in the parish of Llandinam, 1624-1906.; Beadnell family and estate papers, including leases, 1899-1939, schedules of deeds, 1583-1902, schedules of properties, 1911-1941, sales particulars, 1918-1921, and papers relating to the Beadnell Trust, 1892-1950.
