Administrative and biographical history: Thomas Rosser of Loughor, Glamorgan, carpenter and Rachel his wife leased one equal fifth part of land called Croft Danycastell [and house called Castle Cottage] in the borough of Loughor, Glamorgan adjoining the land leading from the South Wales Railway station towards Cilmoor and containing 30 feet in front to the said land and 60 feet back into the said Croft and being the eastern side off William Harries the elder of Loughor, Glamorgan, farmer in 1868. The land and properties passed from Thomas and Rachel to their three children William, Thomas and Albert. It then stayed with the family until 1950 being passed down to Thomas Rosser‼sup>TMs children with his wife Elizabeth.
