Administrative and biographical history: The Independent Cause at Cymmer, Glyncorrwg, Glamorgan, was founded under the ministry of the Reverend Abraham Tibott (1752-1808) who worked in the parish of Glyncorrwg during the 1790s. It was the only nonconformist place of worship in the parish to be recorded in the religious census of 1851.
Scope and content: Records of Hebron Independent Chapel, Cymmer, 1797-1999, comprising a register of members, 1797-1859; financial records, 1876-1904, with insertions, 1909, 1940; papers relating to the Rev. David Jones, 1901-1905; history of the chapel, 1999.
