Administrative and biographical history: The Bowen family of Llangattock Rectory, Crickhowell, Brecon. Rev. Thomas James Bowen married Susan Elvina Williams in Swansea in 1878. They had a daughter Vivien Eleanor, baptised at St. Mary's. Church, Swansea 1879. Susan Elvina Williams appears to have owned a number of properties in Swansea and Carmarthen.
