The records contain mainly minute books, financial statements, correspondence, copies of planning applications, and rate lists. Community councils replaced parish councils under the local government reorganization in 1974. Glynceiriog Parish Council, administering the parish of Llansanffraid Glyn Ceiriog (or Llansantffraid Glyn Ceiriog), was located in the county of Denbighshire until 1974, when its roles were taken over by Glynceiriog Community Council, and Denbighshire became part of Clwyd. It is now in Wrexham County Borough.
Scope and content: Records of Glynceiriog Parish Council, 1895-1970, including minute books, 1904-1970; and financial records, 1895-1955.
