Administrative and biographical history: The Rev. Thomas Hughes (d. c. 1775) was rector of Llanfwrog, Denbighshire. His children included Robert Hughes of Holborn, London, and the Rev. Thomas Hughes of Kew, Surrey. The family owned Plasnewydd, Llanfwrog, Denbighshire, throughout the 18th century (not the later Plasnewydd, Henllan, Denbighshire).
Scope and content: Deeds, 1726-1805, relating to Plasnewydd, Llanfwrog, Denbighshire, and to other properties in Llanfwrog, Llanrhydd, Llanbedr and Ruthin, Denbighshire.
