Administrative and biographical history: Elis Jenkins of Hawthorne Avenue, Neath, Glamorgan was the editor of Neath and District: A Symposium, (Neath, 1974) and also published Short Guide to Neath Rural District (Neath 1959). President of the Royal Institution of South Wales and president of the Neath Antiquarian Society.
Scope and content: Research notes 1954-1976; printed works 1839-1928; newscutting 1964; photographs, pictures and prints (mainly of Neath and district) [18th century]-[20th century]; maps and plans of Neath and district 1818-1975.
