Administrative and biographical history: Gwilym Meredith Edwards (1917-1999) was born in Rhosllanerchrugog, Denbighshire. He was a character actor, appearing on stage, television, film and radio. The 1949 Ealing comedy A Run For Your Money was his debut film.
